Trainee GPs, their Supervisors and Educators can use this web portal to compile bespoke Placement Planning lists of opportunities in their area, matching each Trainees' professional development requirements in RCGP Core Capabilities with local agencies and departments who offer training placements.
Lead Educators are constantly adding details for local placements into our data entry system.
- The database of placement opportunities can be searched and filtered by RCGP specialisms, geographical area, and placement requirements.
- Trainee GPs and their supervisors can save filtered searches, and bookmark opportunities of interest to their 'Favourites' list.
- Saved searches and bookmarked opportunities can be compiled in one click as user-friendly PDF documents to share online, download or print.
- Searches and download lists are automatically compiled to categorise placement opportunities according to RCGP Core Capabilities, and encourage relevant reflections with regard to those criteria when Trainees record their experiences on their e-portfolios.
