Learning opportunities in an obstetrics/gynaecology placement

About this Service

  • The service works with parents to help build a satisfying relationship between them and their baby. The service works with parents through pregnancy up until the child's 2nd birthday.
  • The service offer both group and individual support to service users and offer training, consultation and in some cases ongoing supervision to professionals and other organisations
  • The team consists of a psychologist, specialist health visitor, and psychotherapist and work in the community in children’s centres and within family homes. The team have strong working relationships with health visitors, midwives and GPs.
  • Invited to visit
  • Shadowing can be arranged
  • Extended placement supervision a possibility (from various professionals)
